March in Review

This is a bit late considering we are already past the first week of April but I feel like I can’t let the team down by not doing my month in review so here goes.

The year has sort of run away with me and even though I feel like I have achieved a lot so far, there is still so much more I want to do.

You know this already but there is so much more to be said about it. It was exhausting and the most stressful trip I have been on for work reasons, but it was a good trip for personal reasons. I could see and feel the difference in my confidence compared to my previous meetings. Obviously confidence is important not only in the industry but also in meetings because sometimes you just have to take control, and I did, which surprised me. I learn a lot each time I go but this time I learnt a lot about myself so I think it was positive.

We decided to make a move from our one bedroom granny flat that has been home for six years into a two bedroom granny flat. I am so excited to have more space, to redecorate and to finally be taking big steps towards being actual adults. I will be taking you with me for the whole move so stay tuned.

One morning I logged onto the blog and checked for comments and was completely thrown by a really nasty and vicious comment on one of my posts. I think I handled it quite well and moved on really quickly. My reasons and motivation are far stronger than a bit of hate mail so I had my say, dealt with it and carried on doing my thing.

I mentioned that I would be working with Thatgirlsstore and designing a shirt that represents me and this blog. Wellllll, I did it and they were kind enough to let me design two of the popular statements that I had chosen. My designs are super me and are so suitable to what I am trying to do with this blog. Those will be available to order in the upcoming weeks so I would REALLY appreciate your support (like I actually need your support because I can’t be the only blogger to not sell out her shirt)

I love reading, it is my favourite way to unwind and spend my time. It makes me so happy but I gave it a break for a while, just because I felt like I didn’t have enough time. But I made the effort to make time and finish a book. It was brilliant and probably the best type of book to get me back into my reading.

Here is a bit about it.

Rose Madison is of sound mind, with a sharp focus and a willingness to succeed. At only twenty-three, she’s already won an award for her short story, and has been hailed as the next big thing in the literary world. She’s beautiful, funny, intelligent, and comes from a wealthy and successful family. It’s clear to all, including herself, that her future looks bright and promising.

Why then, does the perfect Rose Madison start to slowly lose her mind?

This is a story of a young woman in her prime, clutching at the remains of sanity.

This book had me hooked and took me on a crazy ride and I loved every second of it.

On that note, would you be interested in reading book reviews on my blog? Let me know in the comments.

So that was my March, eventful, testing and exciting. How was your March?
